Professional Focus
I provide effective and caring therapy 1) for individuals with depression (deep chronic symptoms or the acute pain of heartbreaks, divorce, low self-esteem, etc.) and 2) for couples seeking to reclaim respect, love, and satisfying ways to handle conflicts. I am also experienced providing a safe and therapeutic environment for healing from traumas or sexual abuse; helping people unravel anxiety and phobia patterns; guiding blended families through common pitfalls; assisting through life transitions (big decisions, career, etc.) and loss. Professional interests include integrating the wisdom and analytical tools of depth psychology with more incisive, catalytic interventions of other models. I especially appreciate Ken Wilber's Integral theory.
