Displaying a multidimensional perspective gained through her education in Family Systems and Transpersonal Psychology, Dr. Jessica Thomas, has extensive experince helping those struggling with loss, anticipatory loss, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD and couple's and family conflict.
Engaging the heart and mind through reflective theraputic process to increase awerness, creativity, and wisdom. Jessica's compassion and expertise stems from her undertstanding of the web of connections and emotional dynamics unfolding in contemporary families, couples. and larger organizational systems. She believes that we are all connected, that through awareness we create meaning from our experinces and learn the causes and conditions of happiness.
Dr. Jessica Thomas currently serves on the board of The NW Association of Death Education and Bereavement Support. As an adjunct professor at Lewis and Clark College she teaches on death, loss, and psycho-spiritiual crises. Her doctoral research, Mindful Photography and It's Implications in End-of-Life Caregiving: And Art-based Phenomenology, focused on creative expression and the experince of anticapatory loss. Jessica utilizes mindfulphotography as a spiritual practice and in therapy groups with those experiencing grief and loss.
