I integrate current research and traditional approaches to help clients reduce distress, improve daily functioning, and find fulfillment. Many clients I work with benefit from learning specific skills for stress management and interpersonal effectiveness. Others explore broader issues related to clarifying values and personal growth. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment that allows us to build a collaborative relationship as we work toward symptom relief, self-understanding, positive change, and personal growth. My orientation and training is an integrated approach of cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal process therapy, and family systems therapy.
