I am a seasoned, interactive and compassionate therapist. I offer a relationship of deep listening, honesty, and respect. I believe these qualities are fundamental for positive change. My work can help you to discover freedom from self-limiting patterns that lead to stress, conflict and/or withdrawal from life. I offer support for you to live your life in less reactive and more compassionate ways. I am committed to helping you to clarify and reach your goals.
Some issues I work with include: trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, obsessions/compulsions, attention and impulse control, relationship distress, parenting, spiritual growth.
Some of the approaches I use to help you reach your goals include: Narrative therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), scientifically based relationship therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, mindfulness-based body centered therapy, and mindfulness meditation.
I currently teach a mindfulness meditation class and doing weekend retreats focusing on mindfulness practice.
