People have the right to choose their own therapists.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client in service of the client.
Therapists shall preserve client confidentiality.
Mental health professionals shall create an interdisciplinary community that promotes and supports competent and ethical practice.

AMHA is proud to display practice information for member-therapists. It is each therapist's responsibility to assure that the information posted is accurate. AMHA-USA and AMHA chapters require proof of member's license and insurance at enrollment and renewal. All other information about members is self-reported and not verified by AMHA-USA. AMHA-USA does not warrant the practice of, or treatment by, any therapist included on these pages.

Complaints about services provided by any therapist should be taken first to the therapist for resolution.

If necessary, complaints should be referred to the state authority that licenses the therapist.
